Author Guidelines
Authors submitting articles to our journal must strictly adhere to the following guidelines to ensure formatting consistency.
Preparation of Manuscripts
The following guide has been created to ensure uniformity in the format of articles submitted to our journal. Compliance with the journal's writing rules is mandatory. Articles that do not comply will be rejected. The article evaluation period is 3 months. At the end of this period, feedback regarding the evaluation process will be provided to the author.
- Articles must be submitted strictly in accordance with the Article Template.
- Articles with a similarity rate exceeding 25% will be returned to the author.
- It is mandatory to upload the AI Usage Declaration during submission.
Page Layout
- Manuscripts submitted for publication must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format.
- The text must be justified, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides, typed in Times New Roman, and double-spaced. Paragraph indentation must be 1 cm.
- The article title should be in 14-point bold capital letters; subtitles in 12-point bold with only initial letters capitalized; and the main text in 12-point.
- Abstract, tables, and references should be typed in 10-point with single spacing.
- Decimals in the text should be indicated with a comma (,) for Turkish articles and a period (.) for English articles.
- Excluding the bibliography, tables, figures, and graphs, the article should be a maximum of 5000 words.
Manuscript Sections
Title Page
Must include the full title (Turkish/English), full names of authors, institutions, full address, and e-mail of the corresponding author.
Abstract
Turkish and English abstracts should be 150-300 words. Contents: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Keywords.
Main Text
- Original Research: Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations, References.
- Review Articles: Abstract, Introduction, Section Titles, Conclusion, References.
- Case Report: Abstract, Introduction, Case Presentation, Discussion and Conclusion, References.
References and APA 7.0 Guidelines
For referencing, the APA 7.0 (apastyle.apa.org) formatting style is strictly applied. Journal titles must be abbreviated according to MEDLINE styles.
- In-text with 1 author: (Andsoy, 2004)
- In-text with 2 authors: (Gül ve Andsoy, 2015)
- In-text with 3+ authors: (İnci vd., 2015)
